I ask you this, the frequency is at 15 mins.. 15 mins, the bus is then packed.. There are other svs like 147 needs it more

Well, 502 had DDs in the past. Why can't other express svcs have DDs if there are no height restrictions?

106 was full AMDEP. No bus provided from BBDEP from what know because when I was younger, I saw all 106 buses were with AMDEP sticker pasted on it. SBS 9628G was the 1st VO3X on 106. Then this guy went to serve 25 after the handover. When VSOs came in, 9628 went to BB for 166. The LO3Xes on 10 and 132 came either from SL, BB or ex BB 166.

Yes very true, SBS 106 was from AMDEP. I remember when i was younger i took svc guide 22, 8, 186 from SBS svc 106. Pardon my ignorance, but where are the stickers pasted?

I have been wondering about this for very long time already, ex-svc 502, 501, 511 and 512 were the ones which have DD among express services....perhaps it really depends on the availabilty of DD in depots.....

All the express services have relatively long frequencies (~15min). If load is too high they can just add buses instead of adding DDs which SBST is rather short of.

this is because, before the days of NEL, the fastest way out of Sengkang to town is by 501 or 502.. thats why alot of people takes it... do you know, if i take 85 from Sengkang to Orchard, it takes about an hour plus to nearly 2 if theres a jam.. if i take 502, it takes only 40mins... thats why the load is High and you have buese like Tridents and VSO(our very 1st VSO) on 502 at that time.

do you all find svc 178 useless nowadays? Wat about 61? Derez been lesser habits on 61 and she has Dennis Lance cameo on weekends...must be from AMDEP...TiB 928 G...Tib 912....etc

THe north western routes were certainly better off under SBS. THe territory swap would never have happened if SMRT had a monopoly on all subways.

Off topic: FOr people who say Svc 16 was BNDEP all along, I once boarded a Svc 122 bus (BBT-STM days) and it had a Svc 16 side desto on board. It has to be a BBDEP/ARBP bus.
